5-Card draw is one of the purest forms of poker. You get dealt a 5-card hand. You then get the opportunity to change over some cards which you dont want in order to try to make a better hand. Therefore you always have a standard poker hand that no-one else can see, all you are trying to do is improve that hand and hopefully have a better hand than your opponent in the end. A lot of the skill goes into the betting.
